Zines are an icon of independent culture, a synonym for a publishing house in which the message is entirely original and no one, except the creator, controls the content. Such a ‘little book’ can contain helpful and valuable information.

My zine ‘Zero Waste: Fashion’ represents a set of guidelines on how to reuse old clothes and minimize waste. After research, I collected information and images from an open-source website and the original pictures. The imagery and design for the feature play on the idea of maximizing recycling, minimizing waste, and reducing consumption. The type and layout give interesting, retro-collage-style visuals of the zine.
